Parked on the banks of the Chongwe River, this house has been designed to create four cave-like dwellings. Each of these guest rooms has a tunnel entrance that deletes the need for any doors. Walls have been shaped using ferro-cement covering twisted branches that give unique rock-like mouldings - there are no straight lines. Furniture has been carved from the fallen remains of a single winterthorn tree. Coloured pebbles from the river decorate the ceilings. Staffed with a guide, house manager and private chef, this operates like an exclusive hotel to share with family or friends. Meal times are utterly flexible and vehicles, canoes and a boat are at your disposal.
